Vern Monk
As a self described "Technician trying to make a difference,” Vern Monk is a Senior Service Technician with Grey Motors and has been with us for six years. He's lived in the area all his life and in Owen Sound for over 22 years.
Professionally, Vern works hard to maintain and improve his skills and is currently in the sixth year of the GM Technician Guild Program.
In his free time, Vern has been building, maintaining, and driving stock cars for 26 years. He races Number 7, a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix in the Late Model Class at Sauble Speedway, where he’s won the Challenger Series Championship in 1999 and 2004.
