Tire road hazard failures can be frustrating and costly. The GM Tire
Protection Plan (GMTPP) will help defray most of your out of pocket cost
for potential repairs or even replacement of your vehicle's tires.
Plan Features
Here are some of the features of the GM Tire Protection Plan:
- Coverage terms suited to your driving needs and ownership experience.
3, 4 and 5 year terms available.
- Protection against unexpected costs and inconvenience.
- No deductible.
- Covers Road Hazard tire repairs, if the tire fails to hold air
due to puncture, bruise or break, as described in the plan,
or is damaged and cannot be safely
operated. There is an allowance of up to $40 per tire repair.
- Covers up to 4 replacement tires that are damaged beyond repair
due to puncture, bruising or breakage of your tire during normal
operation
of
your vehicle on
a maintained road.
- Full replacement value in most cases (max. $399.00 - inclusive
of all applicable taxes and duties).
- No depreciation charge on replacement tires.
- Labour allowance max. of $20.00.
- Up to $75 reimbursement towing allowance is also available for
emergency roadside service for tire removal and replacement.
- Transferable at no charge.
